[Protest of Army Contract Award for Aircraft Maintenance, Overhaul, and Storage]
B-240980.2: Oct 17, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Army contract award for aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and storage, contending that: (1) the specified evaluation scheme was defective; and (2) GAO should consider its untimely protest under the significant-issue exception to the protest timeliness requirements. GAO held that, although the evaluation scheme may have been defective, the protest was not of sufficient interest to the procurement community to invoke the significant-issue exception. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
