[Request for Reconsideration of Protest Against Army Bid Rejection]
B-236784.2: May 25, 1990
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its protest against the Army Corps of Engineers' rejection of its bid as nonresponsive. GAO had held that the Corps could not reasonably infer the protester's intended bid price, which was a condition for allowing correction. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) the Corps could have inferred its bid price from another bid option; and (2) GAO improperly considered price variations between the two options. GAO held that the protester did not show: (1) any errors of fact or law that would warrant reversal; and (2) that GAO improperly considered any relevant facts. Accordingly, the reconsideration request was denied.
