A firm protested two Veterans Affairs (VA) contract awards for picture archiving and communications systems, contending that the awardee failed to comply with solicitation requirements. GAO held that VA properly determined that the awardee complied with commercial-product requirements, since the: (1) awardee submitted information on successful operating systems with the same model, type, and class as its proposed system; and (2) awardee's system was capable of interfacing with the brand-name system, as required. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
