A firm protested an Air Force contract award for engine gasket sets, contending that the Air Force acted in bad faith in determining that the awardee was responsible and in listing it as a qualified source for the gaskets. GAO held that: (1) the protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest against alleged solicitation improprieties; and (2) it would not review the Air Force's affirmative determination of the awardee's responsibility. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
