[Request for Reconsideration of Denied Protest of IRS Contract Award for Document Handling Systems]
B-233100.2: Jun 22, 1989
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest against an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) contract award for multifunctional document handling systems. GAO had held that IRS reasonably made award on the basis of the awardee's product's superior performance and ease of use. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO could not support a determination that IRS did not have to disclose unstated evaluation guidelines. GAO held that the protester failed to establish any legal or factual errors in the previous decision that would warrant reconsideration. Accordingly, the reconsideration request was denied.
