A firm protested the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) cancellation of a solicitation for X-ray machines, contending that DLA improperly determined that its bid, the only responsive bid received, was unreasonably high. GAO held that DLA, in determining price reasonableness, properly: (1) considered the Producer Price Index and previous contract prices; and (2) did not consider a nonresponsive bidder's prices, the protester's inadequate pricing data, or commercial prices for a similar product. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
