[Request for Reconsideration of Decision Regarding Protest of GSA Rejection of Bid]
B-228958.3: May 18, 1988
- Full Report:
A firm requested further reconsideration of its denied protest against the General Services Administration's (GSA) rejection of its bid. GAO had held that the protester merely reiterated arguments it raised in its original protest. The protester contended that GSA: (1) improperly used an individual lacking contracting authority to conduct an on-site inspection; and (2) only conducted a market survey, which could not have identified any on-site deficiencies. GAO held that the protester untimely filed its request, since it failed to diligently pursue the information forming the basis of its request. Accordingly, the request was dismissed.
