[USDA Employee's Claims for Backpay and Leave Credit]
B-225967: Jan 14, 1988
- Full Report:
The Department of Agriculture (USDA) requested a decision concerning an employee's claims for annual and sick leave, holiday pay, and within-grade increases. The claimant contended that USDA improperly classified her as an intermittent employee. GAO held that the employee was not entitled to reimbursement, since the six-year time limit for filing such claims had expired. Accordingly, the claims were denied.
