[Protest of Army Delivery Order for Weather Instruments]
B-228302: Jan 13, 1988
- Full Report:
A firm protested an Army delivery order for weather instruments, contending that the: (1) solicitation misled it into proposing non-Federal Supply Schedule equipment; and (2) Army should have awarded it the order, since its equipment was technically acceptable and its bid was low. GAO held that the: (1) Army properly ordered the equipment under the schedule contract; and (2) protester's interpretation of the solicitation as not requiring schedule equipment was unreasonable, since the protester was aware that the equipment was included on the schedule. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
