A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against a Veterans Administration (VA) contract award for cefazolin sodium. GAO had dismissed the protest because the protester failed to provide VA with a copy of it within 1 day of filing it with GAO. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it mailed a copy of its protest to VA. GAO held that it properly dismissed the protest, since the protester could not prove that VA timely received a copy. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
