A firm protested the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) award of a contract, contending that the awardee's price exceeded its price. DLA advised GAO that the contract award and underlying solicitation had been cancelled. GAO will not consider a protest when the solicitation underlying it has been cancelled because cancellation renders the protest academic. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
