A firm protested the Air Force's award of a contract to any other bidder, arguing that its bid was improperly rejected as nonresponsive. GAO noted that the bid and the bid bond each stated a different business status. GAO held that, although both the protester and the protester's surety company indicated that a typographical error led to the discrepancy, a formal clarification was not made and rejection was proper. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
