[Protest of Contract Termination by FAA]
B-217322: Dec 24, 1984
- Full Report:
A firm protested the termination of a small business 8(a) contract which it entered into with a Federal Aviation Administration center. GAO does not review an agency's decision to terminate a contract for the convenience of the government because it is a matter of contract administration. GAO will only review such matters when an agency's action is based upon a determination that the contract was improperly awarded. No such allegation was made by the protester. Moreover, GAO does not review matters relating to terminations for default. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
