A firm protested a contract award under a General Services Administration solicitation for typewriters, contending that the awardee's offer was not for a typewriter model that was in production, as required by the solicitation. GAO held that the protest was untimely filed because it was not received by GAO within 10 days of the time the protester became aware of the basis for its protest. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
