A firm protested a Navy contract award under a request for proposals for an air compressor assembly. The protester contended that the contract was awarded for commodities which varied substantially from the solicitation specifications. This protest was filed more than 10 days after the protester had knowledge of adverse agency action on its protest to the agency. Accordingly, it was untimely and not for consideration. GAO would not consider the question of the acceptance of the equipment under the contract because it was a matter of contract administration for resolution by the contracting agency. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
