[Protest of GSA Contract Award]
B-207852.2: Apr 12, 1983
- Full Report:
A firm protested the award of a contract under a request for proposals (RFP) issued by the General Services Administration for the supply of video tape recorder/players, its models or equal. The protester contended that the video tape recorder/player offered by the awardee as equal to its models did not conform to RFP specifications. GAO stated that the protester failed to establish as unreasonable the agency's acceptance during discussions of the awardee's statement regarding the features of its product that allowed it to meet the questioned salient characteristics. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
