[Protest of Selected Offerer's Small Business Size Status]
B-210580: Feb 7, 1983
- Full Report:
A firm protested the small business status of the selected offeror under a National Aeronautics and Space Administration request for proposals. The procurement was set aside for small business concerns, and the protester asserted that the selected offeror was not a small business. GAO held that the Small Business Administration has the authority to conclusively determine matters of small business size status for Federal procurements, and any such size status challenge must be made through that office. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
