Untimely Protest Alleging Low Bidder Was Nonresponsive

A firm protested the award of a contract for audiovisual services at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, because it contended that the low bidder for the contract was nonresponsive. In a letter dated June 26, 1979, the Air Force denied the protest. Since the protest was not filed with GAO until nearly 1 month after the letter from the Air Force rejecting the protest, it was concluded that the protest to GAO was untimely. Therefore, the protest was dismissed.
