An advance decision was requested regarding the claim of a civilian armed security guard for certain premium pay and differentials lost as the result of a temporary reassignment. The guard was involuntarily removed from patrol duties after medical findings that he was unqualified to carry firearms. Removal did not constitute unwarranted or unjustified personnel action since it was done pursuant to a medical certificate issued by a military physician. Therefore, the employee was not entitled to backpay.
