The audit report of the National Woman's Relief Corps, Auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic, for the year ended September 30, 1977, was reviewed to determine whether the report complied with the financial reporting requirements for federally chartered corporations. The report was prepared by a firm of certified public accountants. It included a statement of the scope of audit and the auditor's opinion that the financial statements present fairly, on a case basis, the financial position of the organization at September 30, 1977, and the results of operations from cash transactions and changes in fund balances for the year then ended in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a consistent basis. The audit and financial reporting requirements of legislation have been met.
