Appeal of Claim for Reimbursement for Additional Costs Incurred by Use of Commercial Rather Than Military Aircraft

An Air Force Reserve officer appealed the disallowance of his claim for reimbursement for additional costs incurred by use of commercial rather than military aircraft in returning from a training mission. The officer was not entitled to reimbursement since he did not obtain a statement of nonavailability of government transportation, and his use of commercial transportation was for his own convenience.
