Claim for Reimbursement of Miscellaneous Expenses for Mobile Home Purchased During Transfer

A decision was requested as to whether an employee could be reimbursed for miscellaneous expenses related to the relocation of his newly acquired mobile home incident to transfer. The employee, who purchased the mobile home for use as a residence at his new station, was entitled to reimbursement for miscellaneous expenses normally associated with the relocation of a mobile home. However, where the employee moved his household goods from the old station to the new station, he was not entitled to reimbursement of a subsequent claim for expenses incurred for transportation of the mobile home.
