NASA plans to invest over $80 billion exploring Earth, the moon, and the
solar system.

Our 14th annual NASA assessment includes snapshot profiles of 33 major
projects.

NASA completed six projects in 2021, including launching the James Webb
space telescope.

But in the last year, projects exceeded cost estimates by nearly $3
billion. They also surpassed their collective schedules by almost 10
years. 

COVID-19 exacerbated these challenges with facility shutdowns and remote
work.

NASA's acquisition management is on our High Risk list.
