Area Description: In 2019, helicopter operators conducted over 28,000 flights in the D.C. area to support military, law enforcement, air medical, and other missions. This video shows examples of helicopters in the area and the noise from these flights, which can be annoying to local residents. We recommended that FAA work with D.C. area helicopter operators to improve responses to residents' noise concerns.
