DOD agreed with this recommendation. The Department stated that it would ensure that the Secretary of the Air Force explores opportunities to improve upon its strategic workforce planning. We will monitor the progress of these efforts.

DOD agreed with this recommendation. The Department stated that it would ensure that the Secretary of the Air Force explores opportunities upon its strategic workforce planning efforts. As of March 2024, the Air Force is conducting a child care staff retention study that will inform workforce needs and be incorporated into its Child Care strategic planning process. We will consider closing this recommendation when this effort is completed.

Military Justice: Actions Needed to Help Ensure Success of Judge Advocate Career Reforms
