Susan Fleming is a Director in GAO's Physical Infrastructure team, overseeing work on a broad spectrum of surface transportation issues, including safety, rail, financing, maritime and autonomous vehicles.
Susan has worked on a wide range of transportation issues. She also spent two years in GAO's Congressional Relations office and served a detail assignment on the Hill where she worked on the Hurricane Katrina investigation.
Susan joined GAO in 1985, and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell University.
