Nathan Anderson is a Director in GAO’s Homeland Security and Justice team. He directs an audit portfolio covering coast guard issues, maritime security, and critical infrastructure protection, including coast guard shore infrastructure and data transparency.
Nathan joined GAO in 2001, and led projects examining nuclear waste cleanup issues, environmental protection, and federal land management prior to his current position.
Nathan earned a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Whitman College.
