Chuck Young is the Managing Director of the Office of Public Affairs. The Office handles all external communications for the agency and the U.S. Comptroller General.

Chuck joined GAO in October 2007. Prior to that he was a journalist, a Chief of Staff for two members of Congress, and worked for two private sector communications consulting firms.

Chuck earned a Master’s Degree in mass communications from Emerson College and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Siena College.
