Annual Month In Review: Index of Reports, Testimony, and Correspondence (FY2008)Annual Month in ReviewThe U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), a nonpartisan agency within the legislative branch of the government, conducts audits, surveys, investigations, and evaluations of federal programs. This work is either self-initiated or done at the request of Congress. GAO presents its findings and recommendations in reports to Congress or in testimony before congressional committees. Document title, number, date, and pagination are provided for each publication, which are grouped according to subject categories. Although there may be instances in which reports or testimony may logically fit under two or more categories, we have tried to place them under the most obvious one. |
