Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO commented on information it used to respond to a Nevada consulting firm's report which criticized three GAO reports. GAO noted that its efforts to identify specific documents reviewed and individuals contacted were complicated by the length of time since the reports were issued. GAO presented: (1) a complete list of the reports, studies, judicial opinions, manuals, and agency plans reviewed for two GAO reports; and (2) the names of individuals present at meetings held to gather report information.
