Department of the Army The Secretary of the Army, through the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, should work with the Director, OMB, to establish a realistic time frame goal for the expedited review of feasibility reports on proposed water resource development projects to be transmitted to Congress for construction authorization.
Closed – Not Implemented
The Secretary of the Army and OMB have not agreed upon a time frame for OMB review of projects, although they have taken actions cited in part I to expedite the process, which they believe is responsive to the recommendation.
