GAO presented a transcript of an interview with Harold J. D'Ambrogia, Kenneth A. Pollock, Richard A. Sheldon, and Charles F. Vincent, who served as officials in the San Francisco Regional Office during the period between 1954 and 1987, as part of its program to record key government officials' observations and impressions and ensure that the bases for policy decisions and other important events are systematically recorded for posterity.
