Phillip S. Hughes, 1972-1977

GAO presented a transcript of a videotape of an interview of Phillip S. Hughes, who served GAO from 1972 to 1977 and attained the position of Director of the Office of Federal Elections and Assistant Comptroller General for Energy and Special Projects. GAO conducted the interview as part of its program to record key government officials' observations and impressions and ensure that the bases for policy decisions and other important events are systematically recorded for posterity.
