Summaries of Conclusions and Recommendations on the Operations of Civil Departments and Agencies

A summary is provided of conclusions and recommendations resulting from GAO audits and other review work in federal civil departments and agencies. While the reports have previously brought the matters to the attention of Congress and department officials, the summary was compiled to assist congressional committees in their review of budget requests for fiscal year 1982.
