GAO provided summaries of conclusions and recommendations resulting from GAO audits and other reviews of federal departments and agencies. GAO presented summaries of recommendations on which no satisfactory legislative or administrative actions have been taken or are being taken, for use in congressional review of budget requests for fiscal year 1987.
