General Accounting Office Thesaurus

GAO published the third edition of the GAO Thesaurus which lists more than 3,600 terms used to index GAO documents and retrieve information from the GAO documents data base. The thesaurus is divided into three parts: (1) an alphabetical thesaurus of subject terms; (2) a keyword out of context index; and (3) a section containing microthesauri for selected subject areas.
