Pursuant to a legislative requirement, GAO reviewed the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) new rule on microwave broadcast facility frequency relocation. GAO found that: (1) the rule would clarify FCC rules on relocating microwave facilities and adopt a plan for sharing the costs of relocation; and (2) FCC complied with applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
