Pursuant to a legislative requirement, GAO reviewed the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) new rule on amending the Intermarket Trading System Plan. GAO noted that: (1) the final rule amends the plan governing the operation of the Intermarket Trading System; and (2) SEC complied with the applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
