Military Operations: Some Funds for Fiscal Year 1999 Contingency Operations Will Be Available for Future Needs

Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO provided information on: (1) the costs of and funding for fiscal year (FY) 1999 overseas military contingency operations; and (2) whether any funds remaining at the end of FY 1999 can be applied to FY 2000 funding requirements.
