Pursuant to legislative requirements, GAO reported on the activities of the Office of Personnel Management, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and the Federal Labor Relations Authority.

GAO noted that it has issued a number of separate reports on the significant activities of the three offices. GAO listed and described: (1) the reports issued in fiscal year 1983 on the actions of the three offices; and (2) work in progress as of September 30, 1983, on significant civilian personnel matters.
