Highlights

The Office Equipment Service of the House of Representatives furnishes electrical and mechancial office equipment to Members, officers, and committees of the House of Representatives. Examination of selected purchase and disposal transactions showed that they were properly documented and recorded and that the Service's records adequately account for purchased equipment and provide adequate control over the dollar amount of equipment chargeable to members. Records on leased equipment were also adequate. Operating costs for the Service for the year ended June 30, 1978, were $5,766,076.
