Please note that a lapse in appropriations has caused GAO to shut down its operations. Highlights

Chairwoman Jo Ann Emerson of the Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government, House Committee on Appropriations, requested a GAO opinion regarding the availability of the Health Insurance Reform Implementation Fund established by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (here collectively referred to as PPACA).
