A firm protested a proposed Forest Service contract award for timber sales, contending that the awardee's bid should have been rejected as nonresponsive, since its bid: (1) contained errors; and (2) failed to indicate whether it was a manufacturer. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its comments on the agency report more than 14 days after the report due date; and (2) Forest Service properly evaluated and accepted the awardee's bid. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
