[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Coast Guard Contract Award]

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Coast Guard contract award. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its comments on the agency report more than 14 days after the report's due date. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it did not receive a notice of the due date for its comments. GAO held that the protester's alleged nonreceipt of the notice did not preclude it from filing timely comments. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was dismissed.
