[Second Request for Reconsideration of Protest of DOT Contract Award]

A firm requested further reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Department of Transportation contract award. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its comments on the agency report more than 10 days after the report's due date. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it filed its comments on the date that GAO instructed. GAO held that the protester untimely filed its request for reconsideration more than 10 days after it knew its protest was dismissed. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
