Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of an Agency for International Development (AID) contract award for plastic sheeting. GAO had held that: (1) the solicitation provided for only a price evaluation prior to award and a product evaluation after award; (2) other protest issues concerned the awardee's responsibility, which it would not consider; and (3) the protester untimely filed its contention that AID acted in bad faith. In its request for reconsideration, the protester reiterated its original contentions. GAO held that the protester failed to provide any evidence that warranted reversal of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
