Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Navy solicitation for oil/water separators. GAO had held that the protester's contentions were not appropriate for resolution by GAO. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that the solicitation: (1) contained ambiguous references; and (2) permitted bidders to offer more than one type of equipment that could not be compared rationally. GAO held that there was no basis to reconsider its earlier decision, since the protester failed to address any new protest issues or present any new information. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
