Highlights
A firm protested a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contract award for a fire alarm system, contending that VA: (1) improperly evaluated the bid prices; and (2) should not have accepted the awardee's bid, since it misrepresented itself as a small disadvantaged business and improperly altered its bid form. GAO held that the protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it learned the basis for protest. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
