A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a Department of Energy (DOE) subcontract award. GAO had held that the protest against the solicitation's wage determination was a matter within the Department of Labor's jurisdiction. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it timely filed its protest against the solicitation's restrictive wage specifications. GAO held that the: (1) dismissal was not predicated on timeliness grounds; and (2) protester failed to provide sufficient information that would warrant reconsideration of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
