A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against an Air Force solicitation cancellation and protested the Air Force's resolicitation and the subsequent cancellation of a solicitation for an electrical substation. GAO had held that the protester: (1) provided no basis for reconsideration, since it merely reiterated its original arguments; and (2) untimely filed its protest that the Air Force cancelled the solicitation in bad faith, since it failed to diligently pursue the information forming the basis of the protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it diligently pursued its prior protest. GAO held that the protester: (1) failed to diligently pursue its protest; and (2) based its resolicitation and cancellation protests on underlying untimely arguments that it was entitled to award under the original cancelled solicitation. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed and the protests were dismissed.
